# Ace > Ace is an iPhone study app that turns your own course material — PDFs, PowerPoint slides, Word documents, ePub textbooks, text files and YouTube lectures — into four-option multiple-choice practice questions that are checked against the source. Users study the questions solo or in a live two-player quiz duel with a friend. Key facts: - Platform: web app at https://www.acenow.app (works now); iPhone app coming soon; Android planned for later. - Uploads: PDF, .pptx, .docx, ePub, .txt, Markdown up to 100 MB per file; YouTube links with captions (English works best). Files need selectable text; scanned images are not supported yet. - Users choose the chapter or topic to study from the file's outline. - Question quality: each question is traced to a source passage; questions answerable without the material, or unsupported by it, are discarded. Wrong options come from real student misconceptions and true facts about confusable concepts. No "all/none of the above". - Friend duels: 2 players, alternating turns, 15-second clock, points for correct answers with a speed bonus, 3-second reveal of the correct answer after each turn, winner or draw at the end. Server-graded and server-timed. Friends connect with invite codes (ACE-XXXX-XXXX). - Study calendar: 30/45/60-minute sessions, solo or with a friend, optional Google Calendar sync. - Pricing (website, EUR, sold via Lemon Squeezy): first study set free; Weekly €12.99 with a 3-day free trial; Monthly €39; Yearly €350 (saves €118 vs monthly). iPhone app (coming soon) uses App Store pricing. Up to 3 uploads during the trial. Cancel anytime: on the web from Plan at www.acenow.app; in the iPhone app from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. - Sign in with Apple, Google or email. Account deletion is available in the app and removes all files and data. - AI: Google Gemini models via Google Cloud Vertex AI, plus Ace's own concept-extraction and verification pipeline. - Operated by Waqas Baloch, Henstedt-Ulzburg, Germany.
