Troubleshooting

My upload didn't produce any questions

  • Check the file has selectable text — scanned pages and photos aren't supported yet.
  • Check the file is under 100 MB and isn't password protected.
  • For YouTube, make sure the video is public or unlisted and has captions.
  • Try choosing a specific chapter rather than the whole document.

My friend can't join a duel

  • Invites expire after 15 minutes if nobody joins — send a new one.
  • Make sure you're both on the latest version of Ace and connected to the internet.

I paid but Ace still shows the paywall

On the subscription screen tap Restore purchases, making sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you subscribed with.

Cancel your subscription

Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Ace → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Delete your account

In Ace, open your profile and tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, uploaded files, study sets, progress, friend connections and duels. It can't be undone. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription — cancel that in your iPhone settings as above.
