AceThese terms apply to your use of the Ace iPhone app and acenow.app ("Ace"), operated by Waqas Baloch, Henstedt-Ulzburg, Germany (full details in the imprint). By creating an account or using Ace you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Ace. Questions: support@acenow.app.
1. Your account
You need an account to use Ace. Keep your sign-in details secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission.
2. Subscriptions and free trials
- Ace Premium is offered as auto-renewing subscriptions: weekly (with a 3-day free trial), monthly and yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- In the iPhone app, payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- On the website, your order is processed by our reseller and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, which takes payment when you subscribe, or when the free trial ends, and handles applicable sales tax. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel at any time from Plan on www.acenow.app.
- Either way, cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the paid period. A subscription bought in one place works everywhere you sign in.
- During the free trial you can upload up to three files. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies. For website purchases, contact support@acenow.app.
App Store purchases are also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the files and links you upload. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to provide Ace to you — for example, to generate your questions and show them in duels you start. Only upload material you have the right to use for your own study. You can delete your content by deleting your account.
4. AI-generated questions
Ace uses AI to generate study questions from your material, and checks them against it, but it can still make mistakes. Questions are a study aid, not a guarantee of accuracy or of any exam result. Always rely on your course material and teachers for what's authoritative.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Ace to upload unlawful content or content that infringes others' rights; to harass other users; to try to access other users' data or interfere with the service; or to reverse engineer, scrape or resell Ace. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Ace available and improving, but features may change and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We may update these terms; if changes are significant we'll let you know, and continuing to use Ace means you accept them.
7. Disclaimers and liability
Ace is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using Ace and delete your account at any time from your profile in the app.
